Liminal Scope is an immersive installation created in collaboration with Katherine Brice as part of Hovver Studios. Liminal Scope focuses on the unseen qualities of light. As humans, our senses
limit us to believe reality is the way we perceive it. Liminal Scope invites us to consider what else might lie beyond our perceptual horizons. The ancient Toltec people believed that human perception is light perceiving light. They saw matter as a mirror - everything is a mirror that reflects light and creates images of that light. Liminal Scope attempts to describe this using immersive light and sound framed around the reflective light phenomena. The mind is invited
into a meditative state by witnessing the synthesis of light, sound, and space - a transit traditionally beyond our perception.
